“Spent couple nights for a buissness trip, I stayed in the superior room. It was nice and comfortable, nice decor too e.g with the wood beams, big bath also. Staff were nice, polite and welcoming. The room was allocated separate from the main building, on ground floor, which is a nice little touch. Get privacy and Access to garden too. Would stay again.”
“We stayed on valentines night and the people were very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing the dinner and breakfast. Only thing was location as we like to go for walks. However we did walk from pulbrough train station to the round about hotel. We really enjoyed that but not a lot of pavement. All round great weekend thank you roundabout hotel”
“Working away from home a lot, it’s always nice to find somewhere good to stay. The hotel itself is lovely, the prices are reasonable, and the food is great. The best part about the hotel is the staff though in my opinion. From the warm welcome at reception to the service at the bar and in the restaurant the staff were fantastic. Would definitely recommend and look forward to staying again.”
“We had a fantastic experience at Roundabout Hotel Carvery. The restaurant has a cosy, warm atmosphere that makes you feel welcome the moment you arrive. The carvery selection was outstanding — everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. It’s very well organised, with tables invited up individually, which keeps things calm and stress-free. The chef deserves a special mention: friendly, enthusiastic, and clearly passionate about what he does. That positive energy really adds to the whole experience. We enjoyed our Wednesday carvery so much that we returned again for Sunday — and it was just as excellent. Thank you for two lovely meals. Highly recommended!”
“The Roundabout started doing a carvery on a Sunday in November and are now doing it on a Wednesday too. It is truly excellent. I went with a group of friends and the staff were very considerate of some of the group who are disabled and generally very helpful. We have been to a few local pubs as a group but this knocked spots off everywhere else. The food was fresh, hot, beautifully cooked, really tasty and the meat was tender. It was great to have real roast potatoes rather than fried ones! A wide range of veg, not just the easiest. Great roast parsnips and mashed swede with sweet potato I think. And there was stuffing, which other venues have told me there is no demand for. And it was all at an affordable price for those on a limited budget. We will definitely go again!”
